This feelings chart is a nice visual tool that is printed on a felt fabric. It is portable as it folds up to about the size of a piece of paper, and then it snaps closed to stay flat. I don't see us bringing it anywhere with us, but that could be a nice option for mobile therapists/teachers on home visits. The suggestions in each color coded book are reasonable for children and have good pictures to go along with each one. There is some overlap in the suggestions for each category, but it does not take away from the effectiveness. I do wish the font was bigger and that possibly the chart was bigger overall for the price, as it can take some time to 'find' what you are looking for on the chart. It could be a bit cheaper in price for what it is-but overall, it is a nice tool.

It seems like it will hold up well to repeated handling without tearing or bending easily.Assembly is simple and quick. You just punch out the cards and attach them with the included silicone zip ties. I also like that it can be hung up, snapped closed for travel, and that the cards can be used separately from the board if needed.I think this calming chart is a really nice way to encourage safe and healthy ways for children to work through big emotions.

It comes with a great variety of options.It is a thick feltlike material (I gave it 4 stars as it could be a texture issue for some children) that is soft but also a little rough like.The images on the chart and squares are very clear and you also get hooks that adhere to the wall for it.A good chart for a nursery or classroom.
